Feeds: filter, save and review mentions
Review mentions in a feed, filter by Fit Score, intent tags and platform, save filters as a feed, act on many mentions at once and track New, Seen and Engaged.

A feed is a filtered view of the mentions your listeners find. All mentions (app.snitchfeed.com/feed) shows every mention in your workspace. A saved feed stores a set of filters under a name, so you and your team can reopen the same view and send its matches to Slack, Discord, email or webhooks.
Open Feeds in the sidebar to see every feed. The Feeds page (app.snitchfeed.com/feeds) lists All mentions and your saved feeds with their Platforms, Filters and Notifications, and has a search box and a Create a new feed button. Each saved feed also appears under Feeds in the sidebar.
All mentions opens with Fit score set to Medium and High and sorted by Fit Score (high to low), so the strongest matches come first. See How Fit Score, intent tags and sentiment work.
Feed layout
The top bar shows the feed name, the number of mentions that match and how many filters are applied. Its actions are:
- Notifications (saved feeds only): choose where the feed's new mentions are sent. See Set up notifications for a feed.
- Export (download icon): download the feed as a CSV file. See Export mentions to CSV.
- Switch to Panel View / Switch to Table View: change the layout. Your choice is remembered in this browser.
- + Listener: opens Snitch AI with a prompt to create a new listener.
On a listener's own feed, the top bar also has a switch to pause or start the listener and an Edit Listener button.
The feed has two layouts:
- Table view (the default) lists mentions in rows with the columns Opportunity, Author, Tags, Listener and Posted. Click a row to open the mention in a side panel. Rows have checkboxes for bulk actions.
- Panel view shows the mention list on the left and the selected mention on the right.
Use the Up and Down arrow keys to move between mentions and Esc to close the open mention.
Filter sidebar
The Filters sidebar sits to the left of the feed. Press F to open or close it. A badge shows how many filters are active, and the clear button resets them.

| Include Intents / Exclude Intents | Require or hide intent tags such as Buying Intent or Pain Point. A tag cannot be included and excluded at once. |
| Include Listeners / Exclude Listeners | Limit the feed to some listeners or hide others. Not shown on a listener's own feed. |
| Platforms | X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Reddit, Bluesky and Hacker News. |
| Include Keywords / Exclude Keywords | Keep or hide mentions matched by specific listener keywords. |
| Tracked Profiles | Keep mentions from selected tracked profiles. |
| Collection(s) | Keep mentions saved to selected collections. |
| Include Subreddits / Exclude Subreddits | Reddit only, entered as r/subreddit (case-sensitive). Available when Reddit is selected under Platforms. |

Filters are stored in the page address, so you can share a link to an exact view with a teammate.
Create a feed
Start a new feed
On the Feeds page, click Create a new feed. You can also start from All mentions or any other feed.
Set your filters
Choose the filters in the sidebar. Save Feed stays disabled until at least one filter is active.
Save it
Click Save Feed, enter a Feed name in the Save feed dialog and click Save Feed again. The feed appears on the Feeds page and in the sidebar.
Name feeds after their purpose, for example "Competitor complaints, High only", rather than their raw filter values.
Update a feed
Open a saved feed and change its filters, then click Update Feed in the sidebar. Confirm in the Update feed filters? dialog to replace the saved filters with the ones on screen.
The same row of buttons has Rename, Duplicate and Delete. Deleting a feed removes it for everyone in the workspace and cannot be undone. You can also edit or delete a feed from the Feeds page.
Notifications
Alerts belong to a saved feed, not to a listener. The feed's filters decide which new mentions are sent, so a feed with Fit score set to High only alerts on strong matches. Click Notifications in the top bar to set it up. See Set up notifications for a feed.
Mention states: New, Seen and Engaged
Every mention has a state your whole team shares:
- New: nobody has opened it yet.
- Seen: someone opened it. A mention is marked seen after it stays open for 2.5 seconds, or when you click View to open the original post. Press M to toggle seen yourself, or hover the Seen by line and click Mark as not seen.
- Engaged: someone generated or refined an AI reply for it. Engaging also marks the mention seen.
The mention panel shows who saw a mention ("Seen by" with names and times on hover) and who engaged or archived it. Changes made through the API or connected apps are shown with the app's name. Filter by state with Seen vs New.
Act on many mentions at once
In table view, tick the checkbox on one or more rows (Shift-click selects a range, X selects the open mention). A bar appears at the bottom of the page with:

The same bar appears on Opportunities.
Mention detail panel
Header
- The platform icon, the Fit Score percentage and when the mention was posted. Hover the time to see Found at and Posted at. Mentions from a tracked profile show a Tracked Profile badge.
- Seen by lists who has opened the mention. Hover it for times and Mark as not seen.
- View opens the original post or comment in a new tab (shortcut V).
- The bookmark button saves the mention to collections.
- The archive button moves the mention to the archive (shortcut A).
- The webhook button sends this mention to one of your active webhooks. Pro plan.
- Show more like this and Show less like this (shortcuts U and D) record feedback on the AI analysis with optional reasons such as Not relevant or Wrong Tags.
AI analysis
Below the header you see the AI summary of what the author wants, the mention's intent tags, its sentiment and any engaged or archived status. See How Fit Score, intent tags and sentiment work.
Post preview
The post or comment is shown as it looks on its platform, with the listener keywords that matched highlighted.
Reply composer
The composer at the bottom drafts a public reply or DM with your response profiles. Press R to jump to it, G to generate and E to copy the reply and open the post. See Generate an AI reply to a mention.
