Tracked Profiles
Follow specific LinkedIn and X accounts on a listener so every new public post lands in your feed, with or without keyword matches.
Tracked Profiles let a listener follow specific LinkedIn or X (Twitter) accounts (a person or a company page) and ingest their public posts directly. Unlike keyword queries, posts do not need to match a search term. SnitchFeed pulls what the profile publishes into that listener’s feed on the same scan schedule as the rest of the listener.
Use Tracked Profiles when you care about a known account (competitor company page, analyst, founder, partner) rather than a topic across the open web. A listener can also be profile-only: Tracked Profiles with no keyword queries.
Not the same as author filters
Tracked Profiles follow an account and collect its posts. Authors (Keyword Tracking) only include or exclude accounts from keyword matches. They are separate controls in the listener dialog. See Create a listener.
What you get
- Posts from each tracked profile appear as mentions on that listener, even when they do not match keywords.
- Mentions still receive AI Fit Score, intent signals, and sentiment, using the listener’s intent signal.
- The mention detail panel labels these items as Tracked Profile.
- In the Feed, you can filter with Include tracked profiles to focus on (or combine) those sources.
- Alerts and webhooks use the same per-listener notification rules as keyword matches.

Reddit, Bluesky, and Hacker News are not available for Tracked Profiles. Keyword listening still covers those networks.
Add Tracked Profiles
Open the listener
Create a listener or edit an existing one, then open the Authors section.
Paste a profile URL
Under Authors (Tracked Profiles), paste a LinkedIn or X profile URL and press Enter. SnitchFeed resolves the URL to a display name and avatar so you can confirm it is the right account.
Save the listener
Add as many profiles as you need, then save. SnitchFeed starts an initial fetch for each new profile, then continues on the listener’s Scan every interval (same schedule as keyword scans for that listener).
To stop following an account, remove it from the Tracked Profiles list and save again.
Credits
Each successful profile-posts fetch charges credits (one charge per page fetch, not per post returned):

Stored mentions also use the usual AI mention scoring cost (0.5 per scored mention). See Credits & usage for the full table and how scan interval affects monthly estimates.
For one tracked profile over an approximate 30-day month:
credits ≈ (24 ÷ scan interval in hours) × 30 × credits per profile fetchUse 4 for LinkedIn and 2 for X. Multiple profiles on the same listener each run on that schedule.
Tips
- You can save a listener with only Tracked Profiles and no keyword terms.
- Pair Tracked Profiles with a clear intent signal so Fit Score still ranks useful posts from busy accounts.
- Use a dedicated listener (for example “Competitor: Acme company page”) when you want separate alerts or Feed filters for profile-sourced mentions.
- Prefer the canonical public URL (LinkedIn
/in/…or/company/…, Xx.com/…ortwitter.com/…). If resolution fails, the profile shows an error state until you fix or remove it. - Keyword include / exclude authors still apply only to keyword matches, not to Tracked Profile ingestion.
