Invite teammates

Add people to your workspace from Settings → Users, track seats, and send email invitations with expiring links.

SnitchFeed workspaces are shared: teammates see the same listeners and mentions (within their role), set up notifications, and collaborate on exports.

Only workspace owners can invite users and manage roles—see Roles and permissions.

Open Users & Permissions

Go to Settings → Users (Settings, then the Users tab). You’ll land on Users & Permissions: invite actions, seat usage, and your member list.

SnitchFeed Users and Permissions: Invite Teammate button, seats remaining and Get more seats, Active Users list with roles and Modify

Seats

Your plan includes a fixed number of user seats. The banner shows how many seats are left, counting both active teammates and anyone still invited but not yet joined—each pending invite holds a seat until they accept or you remove them.

If you are out of seats, Invite Teammate prompts you to upgrade; use Get more seats to open billing and add capacity.

Send an invitation

  1. Click + Invite Teammate.
  2. Enter First name, Last name, and their email.
  3. Assign role — Collaborator or Viewer (workspace Owner cannot be assigned from this dialog; promote someone after they join if needed).
  4. Click Send Invitation.

Not sure which role to pick? Use the in-app link to Roles and permissions.

What happens when you invite someone

Seat usage

That person counts toward your plan’s seat limit until their membership changes.

Email

They receive an email from SnitchFeed with a Join Workspace button linking to a secure URL.

Expiry

Invitations expire after 7 days. Until then, the invitee should open the link and sign up or log in with the same email you invited.

While the invite is pending, they appear under Pending Invites with an invited status. After they complete onboarding through the link, they move to Active Users as active.

If Invitation expires passes and they still have not joined, use Resend on their row to issue a fresh invite (new email and link). You can also share the link from the toast again only if you still have it—otherwise Resend is the reliable path.

If the email already has a SnitchFeed account

Inviting an address that already belongs to an active SnitchFeed user shows an error (User already has a SnitchFeed account). The invite dialog cannot attach that existing login to your workspace—contact support through the in-app chat or by emailing us, and we’ll help wire them into your organization.

Manage existing users

Use Modify on a row to change someone’s role after they join (workspace owners only). Pending invitations stay under Pending Invites until the teammate accepts; joined teammates appear under Active Users.
