Bookmarks
Save mentions into color-coded collections, open them from the Feed (or listener and saved views) with a collection filter, and manage collections from Bookmarks.
Bookmarks are a lightweight triage layer on top of the Feed: you save individual mentions into one or more collections, then use Bookmarks in the sidebar to manage collections and open a filtered Feed for any collection.
Bookmarks are for posts you already know you want to keep, share internally, or come back to later.
Collections
A collection is a labeled bucket for saved mentions:
- Name — what appears in the UI (for example “Q1 leads” or “Competitor snipes”).
- Color — shown on the bookmark icon and in lists so you can scan by team or theme.
A single mention can belong to more than one collection at a time. That is useful when the same post is relevant to both “Product feedback” and “Competitor complaints.”
Create and manage collections
- In the app sidebar, open Bookmarks (the Bookmark collections page).
- Click New Collection to open Create a new collection, enter a name, pick a color, and submit.
- On each collection row, use Edit to rename or recolor that collection, or the trash control to delete it.
Each row also shows how many mentions are in the collection (counts load after a short moment). View opens your Feed with that collection applied: the address bar includes a collections parameter so only mentions in that collection appear. You can add or remove collections in the filter sidebar the same way as on the main Feed.
Save mentions from the feed
On mention cards in the Feed, on a listener page, or on a saved view (including when a collection filter is already applied), use the Save control in the footer:
- Click Save (or the filled bookmark showing the current collection name if already saved).
- In the menu, optionally click New Collection to create another collection without leaving the card.
- Toggle checkboxes next to collection names to add or remove that mention from each collection. Changes apply immediately; a toast confirms success.
Tip: If a collection filter is active (for example collections in the URL) and you remove the mention from every collection that matches that filter, the card can disappear from the list right away because it no longer matches the filter.
Browse and filter saved mentions
- Bookmark collections — The Bookmarks sidebar entry lists your collections, mention counts, View (Feed with that collection selected), Edit, and delete.
- Same filter everywhere — The sidebar’s Bookmark collection control (see Feed) is available on the main Feed, on a listener page, and on saved views, not only from Bookmarks. Choosing one or more collections narrows the stream to mentions saved in those collections; the choice is reflected in the
collectionsURL parameter so links stay shareable.
Saved streams use the same mention cards, AI panels, Mark as seen, Archive, Export, and Chat with mentions as the main Feed—the underlying mention is the same record.
How bookmarks differ from archive
| Bookmarks | Archive | |
|---|---|---|
| Intent | “Keep this for later / share / prioritize.” | “Remove from my active stream.” |
| Visibility | Optional membership in collections you choose. | Mention leaves the default feed per archive rules. |
See Archive for restore and archive reasons.
