Get started with SnitchFeed
Set up SnitchFeed step by step, from sign-up and onboarding to Brand Context, your first listener, its feed and Slack, Discord or email alerts.
Last updated
This guide takes you from sign-up to your first alerts. You can do it in one sitting; the longest wait is SnitchFeed reading your website.
Create an account at app.snitchfeed.com/signup with your work email or Google. Personal and disposable email addresses are not accepted. Your workspace starts on a 7-day free trial.
Complete onboarding
Onboarding walks you through a few short steps:
- Website: enter your company website so SnitchFeed can learn about your business. If you don't have one, click I don't have a website and paste a description instead.
- Goals and About you: a few questions about what you want from SnitchFeed and your role.
- Notifications: choose your personal email digests.
- Book a demo: an optional call for a walkthrough. Click Skip if you don't need it.
On the last step, click Let's do it to open the app. If your workspace needs a plan first, onboarding asks you to choose one.
Review your Brand Context
While you finish onboarding, SnitchFeed reads your website and builds your Brand Context: your company, audience, ideal customers, use cases and case studies. The AI uses it to score every mention, so check it in Workspace Settings → Brand Context and fix anything it got wrong. See Brand Context.
Create your first listener
A listener decides what SnitchFeed looks for: an intent signal describing the posts you want, keywords and platforms. Create one in either of two ways:
- Ask Snitch AI. The app opens on Snitch AI. Describe what you want to track and it drafts the listener, tests the queries and asks you to approve it. See Snitch AI.
- Build it yourself. Open Listeners and click Create a new Listener. See Create a listener.
When you add keywords, SnitchFeed searches recent posts right away, so the first mentions usually appear within minutes.
Open the listener's feed
Each new listener gets its own feed, filtered to Fit score = Medium + High so you start with the relevant mentions. Open it from Feeds to review mentions, read why each one scored as it did and reply. See Feeds and How Fit Score works.
Turn on alerts
Open the feed, click Notifications and add Slack, Discord, email or webhook destinations, then switch on Enable notifications and click Save changes. The feed's filters decide what is sent. See Set up notifications for a feed.
Optional next steps
- Connect your AI assistant. Use SnitchFeed from Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT with the MCP server.
- Send mentions to your tools. Push new mentions to a CRM, Zapier or n8n with webhooks (Pro).
- Build on the API. Search and read data programmatically with the REST API.
- Invite your team. Add teammates from Workspace Settings → Team.
