Save mentions to collections and archive the rest
Save mentions to shared, color-coded collections, archive handled ones to clear your feeds, and restore any archived mention.

Two tools keep your feeds tidy. Collections keep mentions you want to come back to, and those mentions stay in your feeds. The archive removes mentions you are done with from every feed, and you can restore them any time.
Both live under Collections & Archive in the sidebar.
Collections
A collection is a named, color-coded list of mentions: leads to follow up, quotes for a launch, or posts to share. Collections are shared with your whole workspace. One mention can sit in several collections.
Create a collection
Go to Collections & Archive → Collections. The page lists each collection with its Name and number of Mentions.
Click New Collection. Enter a Collection Name, pick a Collection Color and click Save.
To change a collection, click Edit on its row, update the Name or Color and click Save changes. To remove it, click the trash icon and confirm Delete collection. Deleting cannot be undone.
Save a mention
Open a mention in any feed.
Click the bookmark button in the mention's header. It fills in once the mention is in a collection.
In Save to a collection, click a collection to add the mention. Click it again to remove it. New Collection creates one without leaving the feed.
To save many at once, tick them in the feed's table view and click Add to Collection. One action adds up to 1,000 mentions. See Act on many mentions at once.
View a collection
Click View on a collection's row. It opens a feed filtered to that collection, with the full mention panel, reply composer and export.
You can also pick collections in the Collection(s) filter of any feed. The link includes your selection, so you can share it.
Archive
The archive holds mentions you have handled. Archived mentions leave every feed, Opportunities and CSV exports. They keep their AI analysis and history, and you can restore them.
How mentions get archived
You archive them. Click the archive button in a mention's header, or press A while it is open.
A listener change archives them. When you tighten a listener, SnitchFeed archives existing mentions that no longer fit its rules:
| You change the listener | Mentions archived |
|---|---|
| Delete a keyword | Mentions found by that keyword. |
| Add an excluded keyword | Mentions that contain it. |
| Add an excluded author | That author's mentions for the listener. |
| Limit it to specific authors | Mentions from anyone else. |
| Exclude a subreddit | Reddit mentions from that subreddit. |
| Limit it to specific subreddits | Reddit mentions from other subreddits. |
Show less like this does not archive a mention. It only records feedback.
Open the archive
Go to Collections & Archive → Archive. It has the same filters as a feed.
Open an archived mention to see "Archived by" with a teammate's name and the time. Archives from a listener change read "Archived by System" with the reason, such as excluded keyword or keyword deleted.
Click Recent at the top of the filters to see only mentions archived in the last 30 minutes. Use it right after changing a listener to check what was removed. Click All to see everything again.
Restore a mention
On the Archive page, the archive button in a mention's header becomes a restore button (hover it to see Restore). Click it to send the mention back. It reappears in every feed whose filters it matches.
Next steps
- Feeds: filter mentions and act on many at once.
- Create a listener: tune the rules so fewer mentions need archiving.
- CSV export: download a collection as a spreadsheet.
