We're switching to credits — here's what that means for you

Two things kept coming up. Users tracking commonly-used terms on LinkedIn or X wanted their feeds refreshed more often, and had no way to control it. And every time we wanted to ship a feature that had real infrastructure cost behind it, we were stuck: absorb the cost silently or add another addon. Neither felt right.
Credits fix both.

What's changing

Your workspace now has a credit balance that refreshes each billing period. Credits are spent on the work that actually costs something to run: scheduled scans on X and LinkedIn, API searches, AI scoring, that kind of thing. Reddit and Bluesky stay exactly the same: real-time, no scan credits.

You now control how often we scan

Each listener has a "scan every" setting — every 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, or 24 hours. Tracking a niche term? Once a day is probably fine. Watching something fast-moving? Dial it up. You decide how aggressively you want your credits to work.

New features ship without the addon tax

This is the part I'm quietly most excited about. AI reply drafts: context-aware drafts for mentions you've captured are almost done. Under the old model, something like that would've been an addon. With credits, it's just part of the product.

The API is live

Qualifying plans now include API access automatically, no separate signup needed. You can search LinkedIn and X programmatically with the same keyword and filters available in the app (in fact, there are more filters available via API - docs here). This is also the foundation for MCP support, which is coming soon.

If you're an existing user

Your plan is being converted to credits. The conversion is in your favor. You'll see your balance in the sidebar, along with a line-by-line usage history Settings → Usage, so nothing is opaque.

What's next

  • AI reply drafts: coming very soon
  • MCP: close to done.
