Privacy Policy

Incentyvise LLC ("SnitchFeed", "we", "us") operates SnitchFeed. This policy explains how we handle personal information from website visitors, account users, and people whose public posts appear in our social listening service. Information we collect

• Accounts and workspaces: name, email address, Google sign-in details or email verification data, workspace and billing information, settings, connected accounts, API keys, and support messages.
• Product content: brands, keywords, competitors, searches, monitored mentions, saved views, feedback, notifications, AI conversations, and content you submit to the service.
• Public social content: public posts and associated profile names, handles, links, timestamps, and engagement information from Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Hacker News, and other supported sources. We obtain this information from public pages, platform APIs, or data providers. A person may appear here without having a SnitchFeed account.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser details, pages visited, product events, diagnostics, and security logs. Optional browser analytics and support tools are described below.

Why we use information

We use account and workspace information to provide the service, authenticate users, process subscriptions, send service messages, and respond to support requests. We process public social content to find and analyze relevant mentions for customers. We use technical data to secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service. With your choice, we also use optional browser tools to measure visits, attribute referrals, and offer support chat.

Where EU or UK data protection law applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract for account and product functions; legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our service and identifying relevant public mentions; consent for optional browser tracking; and legal obligations for required records and responses. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests as described below.

AI processing

We send relevant brand information, public mentions, and AI chat prompts to AI providers to classify mentions, research brands, and answer user questions. We use paid Gemini API services, OpenRouter routed models, and OpenAI API services for these functions. These providers may process data outside your country under their own service terms. SnitchFeed does not use your data or public posts to train its own AI models. We do not promise that every model provider reached through OpenRouter has the same data retention or training practices; those depend on the selected provider and its terms.

Cookies and optional browser tools

Necessary cookies keep you signed in and remember security and privacy settings. Our sf_tracking_consent cookie stores your optional tracking choice for 180 days. You can change it at any time using "Privacy choices" on our site, app, or docs. Rejecting optional tools does not prevent necessary cookies or server-side records needed to run and secure the service.

If you accept optional tools, we may load PostHog for product and website analytics, Rybbit for website and docs analytics, Affonso for affiliate attribution, and Chatwoot for support chat. These tools may use cookies or similar browser storage and receive technical usage information. Affonso is configured with a 30-day attribution cookie. PostHog may use a cookie across SnitchFeed subdomains. Session replay may be enabled in PostHog and on the docs site through Rybbit. You can also limit cookies in your browser settings.

Who receives information

We use service providers for hosting, databases, payments (Stripe), email delivery, analytics, support, affiliate attribution, AI, error monitoring, and related operations. Workspace members can see shared workspace content. If a customer configures an integration such as email, Slack, Discord, or webhooks, relevant mention or notification data is sent to that destination. We may disclose information where required by law or in a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money.

How long we keep information

• Raw Reddit data in our social database is normally removed after 14 days.
• Stored mentions and AI conversations follow the applicable plan retention period. Current standard plans provide three or six months of mention retention; plan details may change.
• Workflow history is normally kept for 90 or 180 days, depending on plan.
• After a subscription ends, we keep the workspace for up to 12 months so it can be resumed. We delete it after that period or earlier following a valid deletion request. If other members still use a shared workspace, deleting one account does not delete their shared workspace.
• We keep billing, security, support, and backup records for as long as needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and operational recovery. Third-party providers may have their own retention periods.

International transfers and security

We are based in the United States and use providers in multiple countries. Information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or other legal safeguards for these transfers. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no internet service is perfectly secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain uses; or withdraw consent for optional tracking. These rights also apply to people whose public posts we process, subject to applicable exceptions. Email hello@snitchfeed.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law requires it. EU and UK residents may complain to their local data protection authority.

Children

SnitchFeed accounts are for people aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us account information, contact us. Public social posts may include information about minors; you may request review or removal using the contact above.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the updated version here with a new date and give additional notice when required by law.
