# SnitchFeed docs: social listening guides, API and MCP (https://snitchfeed.com/docs)





**SnitchFeed** finds public posts where people ask for, compare or complain about products like yours. It watches Reddit, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Bluesky and Hacker News, scores every post for how well it fits your business, and alerts your team in Slack, Discord or email.

## How it works [#how-it-works]

1. **Tell SnitchFeed about your business.** It reads your website and builds your [Brand Context](/docs/listeners/listener-intent#brand-context), a short profile of what you sell and who buys it.
2. **Create a listener.** Describe the posts you want, add keywords and pick platforms. Do it yourself or ask [Snitch AI](/docs/features/snitch-ai) to set it up.
3. **SnitchFeed collects and scores.** Reddit and Bluesky are watched in real time. X, LinkedIn and Hacker News are searched on a schedule you choose. Each post gets a [Fit Score](/docs/fit-score), intent tags and sentiment.
4. **Review and get alerted.** Work through your mentions in [feeds](/docs/feeds) and send each feed's best matches to Slack, Discord, email or a webhook.
